Originally established in 1986 under the name The SVB Group, these London-based underwriters merged with Syndicate Capital Trust PLC in 1998 to fund a number of Lloyds underwriters.

What makes landlord insurance a specialist product?

Any property that is let to tenants faces different risks and perils to one which is the home of an owner occupier. The risks are all very real whether the property is a modest building let to residential tenants or a multimillion pound property let to commercial clients.
