It is acceptable that a member of family, carer or someone who is being cared for is staying as a result of COVID-19. If they continue to stay with the tenant after self-isolation / stay at home finishes, then the policy will need to be updated.

Under your landlord policy, where your property becomes temporarily unoccupied you will not need to advise us of the temporary unoccupied status of the property, and the existing level of cover will continue for a period of 90 consecutive days from the date the property became unoccupied.
